GE Aviation Facility Expansion

Its been almost a year now since GE Aviation approached Motion Savers with their material handling needs in their facility expansion project. With the long history between GE Aviation, Motion Savers and TC/American it was no surprise that they looked to TC/American for their Patented Track crane and runway systems. The scope of this project required the use of 30 cranes ranging in capacity from 1 metric ton to 4 metric ton, and over 2900' of runway. With the time frame GE Aviation had available, Motion Savers and TC/American quite the task at hand. Through hard work and a little overtime on the week of April 6th  the last cranes shipped on schedule and within budget. Proving once again that TC/American can get the job done and done well. The photo  shows one of the first batches of cranes being worked on.

ZURN Foundry Monorail Expansion

TC/American is pleased to have been the provider of the monorail system expansion of the ZURN Foundry in Pennsylvania. This new system utilised the full potential and versatility of the TC/American 200 Series line by incorporating a wide range of curves and switches. Above is a photo of a few of the 2S-204 Rotary switches that were used in this new expansion. These switches allow the load to be transferred in three directions in a very compact area, which was a major requirement for ZURN. This was all orchestrated through our local distributor in Pennsylvania Erie Industrial Supply.
